Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of business process automation through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) on the effectiveness of internal control and the prevention of accounting fraud at PT Astra International Tbk – Honda (Astra Motor), Cilacap Branch. The implementation of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is intended to improve data and transaction accuracy as well as strengthen the monitoring system through authorization mechanisms and audit trails. This research applies a quantitative method using a cause-and-effect relationship approach and involves 82 respondents who completed questionnaires regarding the use of ERP in their work. The results of this study are expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to improving corporate governance based on digital technology.
