Abstrak

This study aims to measure and analyze the competence and compensation as well as motivation on employee performance, both directly and indirectly. This research method is quantitative. This study was conducted on 100 employees at PT. Pertamina Reg. VII South Sulawesi. Using Saturated Sampling Technique. Data collected by questionnaires were then analyzed using the Path Analysis method using the SPSS 23 application. From the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between competency variables on employee motivation at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi (2) There is a positive and significant influence between compensation variables on motivation at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi (3) There is a positive and significant influence between competency variables on employee performance at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi (4) There is a positive and significant influence between compensation variables on employee performance at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi (5) There is a positive and significant influence between motivation variables on employee performance at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi (6) Competency variables on employee performance through motivation at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi. VII South Sulawesi "accepted" (7) Compensation variables for employee performance through motivation at PT. Pertamina (Persero) Reg. VII South Sulawesi "accepted".
