PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN KERJA DAN MOTIVASI KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI MELALUI KUALITAS PELAYANAN DI DINAS KEPENDUDUKAN DAN PENCATATAN SIPIL PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui kualitas pelayanan pada Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksplanatori. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 93 pegawai. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berskala Likert dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares dengan bantuan SmartPLS . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja pegawai. Motivasi kerja juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan dan kinerja pegawai. Selanjutnya, kualitas pelayanan terbukti berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Hasil pengujian mediasi menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan mampu memediasi secara signifikan pengaruh lingkungan kerja dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kinerja aparatur pelayanan kependudukan tidak hanya ditentukan oleh kondisi lingkungan kerja dan dorongan motivasional pegawai, tetapi juga oleh kemampuan organisasi menerjemahkan kedua faktor tersebut menjadi pelayanan yang cepat, akurat, responsif, dan berorientasi pada masyarakat.
